Stand before God as a sinful man

When you take the right attitude before God and say: “My God, this is what I can do. I can’t do more as I have no strength left”, God will accept you. Do take this attitude before God, though.

God will accept you, once you take the right attitude –once you humble yourself and show repentance before Him. Let me say, that the right attitude is not standing before God with all your might and your supposedly clear conscience. Stand before God as a sinful, weak man who spares himself of all dis- comforts spiritual life might entail, who doesn’t want to struggle a bit, who papers over the cracks instead of making a clean start, a spiritual start.

Man wasn’t made by God in order to suffer. If man suffers in the end, he does so on account of his sin; Mainly, on account of dealing with his sin incorrectly.
