 Pope Shenouda III When the Lord said to the paralytic, "Your sins are forgiven you", the Gospel says that the scribes reasoned in their hearts, saying: " 'This Man blasphemes!' But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, 'Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier...' " (Matt. 9:3,4); (Lk. 5:21,22); (Mk. 2:6,8).
