To build your child’s trust in you, don’t say something that you will not be able to do and don’t say a word that you will not be up to.
Among the things that totally mess up the discipline when a father says for example:
Don’t you dare lie again or I will punish you...
And then shortly after, the father talks on the phone and says all kinds of lies...
This child will lie, deceive and mess up his life because he lost his trust in a very important person to him!
