1921 - جمهورية الريف في المغرب تهزم الجنود الإسبان في معركة أنوال.
1946 - منظمة الإرجون تقصف فندق الملك داود (في الصورة) في مدينة القدس مما أدى إلى مقتل 91 شخصًا وإصابة 46 آخرين.
1987 - إطلاق النار على رسام الكاركتير الفلسطيني ناجي العلي بوجهه في لندن.
2003 - القوات الأمريكية تهاجم منزل في الموصل كان يختبأ به عدي وقصي نجلي رئيس العراق السابق صدام حسين وتقتلهما.

1298 – English and Irish forces led by Edward Longshanks defeated William Wallace's Scottish troops at the Battle of Falkirk.
