Because I Love You

Jesus loves us! He loves us with an everlasting love. He loves us today and He will love us tomorrow. He loves us so much that He willingly walked that long road and allowed His opponents to crucify Him on the cross for our sins. He Who had never sinned died for our sins.
We have taught about the love of Jesus and we also preach about His love but none of us have any idea how much He loves us. We are sinless, we hurt Him and we break His heart but He still loves us. Knowing that Jesus loves us but do we love Him? What are we doing to prove our love for Him? I’m sure we all have think about this question at one time or another. Our sinful nature cannot comprehend God’s love for us. Bible tells us that God is love. He heals our sickness and disease but Jesus had shown miracle after miracles. He looked at our hearts, our actions and saw us weak, needy, sinful, blind and lost. He, though, helped us to get out of these.
Believing that we needed help, we needed to be saved and forgiven, He went to do something incredible for us; On the cross, He just didn’t suffer but died as a symbol of love. He wants us to love Him back by remembering his sacrifice. He died in name of love. He said, I had been crucified and died on cross because I Love You!
